If only they'd read his 2017 paper asking "Is deep learning approaching a wall?" they'd have known this deep learning stuff is no good and could have shorted the AI companies.
I keep running into people that don’t want to hear this message. It does remind me of the run-up to the 2008 financial crisis when nobody wanted to listen to me.
